Not as laidback and hypnotic as planned, but that's okay if you ask me: Let The Woofer Win, chapter 2
Well, I finally pulled my finger out and recorded Let The Woofer Win, chapter 1 as a form of musical therapy.
Chapter 2 may come soon and will probably be a bit more laidback and hypnotic - if only 'cos such tracks are easier to mix.
I recently recompiled the source of my retro-style blocky chaotic Windows screensaver 'Retro' with Visual Studio.NET 2003 as part of my migration to using VS7.1 for all personal coding.
Whilst looking at the code I discovered that a full two thirds of the available effects had been disabled for debug testing. Doh!
Well, I have rectified that and also tweaked and modified various effect timers and coefficients. The result is a screensaver with far more effects, variation, chaos, and general weirdness. Enjoy.
